Personal Statement
I was searching for my path. After studying in the Bachelor of Business Administration in Accountancy in the City University of Hong Kong., I can finally firm my pathway. Accounting is interesting and I would love to continue my career in accounting.
In those two years of studying architecture, I learnt a lot. Not only the skills of design and knowledge about buildings and houses, but something useful whatever I’m going to be. It trains my presentation skills, to think in others perspective and keeping positive behaviour when facing failure.
In my friends' perspective I am a helpful buddy. I always find contentment when solving problems, no matter the problem is others or mine. I have joint some voluntary work when leisure time. “It is more blessed to give than to receive”, helping others makes me feel even happier. Through helping people, I can always learn a lesson. Whenever I am in position, I always insist on keeping everything done precisely. I am a slow thinker, but always think in details. I am a nervous perfectionist. I need many times of rehearsal to build up the confidence for presentation.
Although I serve accounting as my final destination, attending every activities always teach me a lesson, even its not about all business. As an event organizer in CCCU and city university, I need to plan the budget for the event we organize. I have learnt the importance for having a sense of money and how building up the personal network is vital to my life. Not only asking them for help when there is a problem, but to learn from our friends to become a better me.
